Sophie - Polaroid & Re-worked nudes
The images included in this gallery were taken in January 2005 in Melbourne.
The goal with this series was to capture new work specifically to be used in a project I'm working on whereby the original images are scanned, retouched and printed digitally at a large size onto canvas and stretched onto artists frames.
Once the images are in this state each one will be given to an artist who's work I am familiar with and ask them to re-work / re-interpret the underlying images as they see fit.
Ideally I want to choose one image for the re-interpretations from the whole shoot (the larger image here is currently the front runner for this) however I'm now thinking of using all the images presented below.
Once the work / re-work has been completed I'll be looking to exhibit the series in Melbourne and Sydney. If you'd like to be kept up to date with the progress of this project please send me an email.
